Yet Another Victim – a poem

Yet Another Victim

Bloody waves pull
A soul to sea.
The light grows dim.
But life is churning,
Writhing, growing,
Soaring to the moon
And back again.
The watery depths,
Distortion never revealing.
Pure liquid.
The rippling
Reaching through the mind.
Time stretches forth
As the tide claims
Another victim.
